This is the collaborative site for the International Vaccines Codes Initiative.

Its purpose is to share information about the vaccine code sets used globally, create supporting resources, and ultimately build and operate a pivot international code set that can be used to digitize and share any vaccination history.

FK - This pivot code could also serve to map the codes for specific vaccine products to more general code systems for medicinal products, suited to serve transversal purposes such as logistics (e.g. GTIN) or pharmacovigilance (e.g. WHODrug).
